How are athlete offerings priced?
Agentiq’s valuation and projection team includes former MLB front-office executives and data scientists. The team has developed a proprietary AI/ML model that evaluates more than 100 quantitative and qualitative variables to estimate a range of potential player-success, career, performance, and earnings outcomes.
Representative inputs may include age, position, recent and historical performance, advanced statistics, playing time, role, availability, durability, injuries, development trajectory, modeled upside and downside ranges, contracts, compensation, comparable players, team context, league conditions, market factors, and other sport-specific information.
The team may use Monte Carlo simulation to model many possible career and financial paths, identify a midpoint or other central estimate, and discount projected future value back to present value as part of a player NPV analysis. Former MLB front-office experience informs data selection, comparable-player analysis, development assumptions, and professional review of model outputs.
Player NPV is only one input to offering pricing. The Series structure, Brand Advisory Agreement and defined Brand Amounts, Unit terms, offering expenses, fees, reserves, conflicts, and other disclosed terms also matter. The applicable Offering Circular states the final Unit price and its basis and controls over this Help Center summary.
The model and its assumptions may change, and actual outcomes may differ materially from every scenario. Proprietary modeling, an upside scenario, professional experience, or SEC qualification is not a guarantee, independent appraisal, investment recommendation, or assurance of player success or returns.
